December 15th: Hanukkah

Happy FIFTH NIGHT of Hanukkah! Here is a song we planned to release on the first night of Hanukkah! Hooray! We’re pretty proud about this song – I mean, it’s a parody of a Jonathan Coulton song about a Jewish holiday with references to Harry Potter and questionable vocal skills. What’s not to like? The writing process was a real collaborative effort between Archie and myself – usually we work on most of a song by ourselves, bring it to the other, and tweak it to our mutual liking together. But this one was entirely writing together, since Archie is Jewish, and thus knows a lot more about this stuff than I do. I mean, it’s a religious tradition to EAT JELLY DONUTS. This is clearly the greatest holiday ever. Besides Talk Like A Pirate Day, of course. Now if only TLAPD landed sometime in Hanukkah… I think the world would implode with the awesomeness.
